New Year's Eve with the Spielers

How do we entertain 3 toddlers during New Year's Eve?  Take them bowling, of course.  This was a huge hit, and something we will continue to do in future years.  The boys LOVED it.  And we'll have to remember to go early because the place filled up fast.  The boys did a great job following directions and taking turns.  It was a memorable NYE!

Holiday Trains at the Krohn Conservatory

For the second year in a row we took all of the boys to the holiday train display at the Krohn Conservatory. This time little Riley joined us, although I can't say she enjoyed it as much as Grant, JT, and Bryce. Thomas and Percy were there along with a lot of other trains.

Mickey the Elf

Well this was the year to introduce the boys to "Elf on the Shelf."  We read the book on November 30th and magically on December first our elf arrived.  The boys wanted to name him Mickey (other names included Brother and Grant).  So started the mischief and mayhem of the little guy.  Here's what he was up to this holiday season!

Bodenstein Family Christmas

Today we celebrated Christmas with Kristen, Dan, and Cami as well as G.G. Grandpa, and Grammy.  We had dinner and then enjoyed opening and playing with presents.  The boys were very excited about the hot wheels track that Aunt Ninnin and Uncle Dan got for them, it was definitely a huge hit.

First time in the SNOW!

I cannot believe that the boys are almost three years old and have never played in the snow.  Last winter I even planned ahead and purchased snow pants so that we would be prepared for when the snow came...and it never really did.  So, when the weather forecast called for a significant amount of snow, we planned ahead and bought snow boots and I just decided the boys could wear the snow pants from last year, nevermind they were a size 2T.  But, nevertheless, the snow came and it was enough to play in. We had such a great time.  And, the Spieler family, who are accustomed to snow in Buffalo, NY, were also in Cincinnati for the snow but unfortunately, Bryce was sick so he had to stay in.  Luckily, they grabbed my camera.

Jump Zone with the Spieler Family

We haven't been to Jump Zone since the summer so we thought this would be a great place to burn off some extra energy with the Spieler family.  It was a bit crowded but the boys hardly noticed.  They had a great time playing together.  There favorite part was the big slide!
